Batur Volcano, The Masked Goddess and Singer, Soungwriter and Vocal Alchemist Eve Marie Roy ~ Filmin

Recently I had the honour of cocreating and dancing for with singer, song writer and vocal alchemist Eve Marie Roy on the peak of Batur Volcano. Together with the filming and team consisting of Alex Beaudin Zak Human we made a steady trek up the heaving Batur. Climbing I felt the grounding force of the active volcano. The Volcano is one of two in Bali and revered as a sacred site. Mt. Agung the lager volcano is the home of Batara Gunung Agung, also identified as Mahadewa, the supreme manifestation of Shiva. Mt. Batur and Lake Batur below the volcano are sacred to Dewi Danu, the Goddess of the Lake.

Prior to commencing the filming we made offerings and prayer for permission to the keepers of the the volcano and cave spirits near the entrance of the crater.

It was a truly magical experience and it was effortless to dance deeply embodied the feminne spirit of nature, here on this beside the silently smoking mystical crater.
